Welcome to Kahaniverse. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kahaniverse website and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who may use Kahaniverse

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using Kahaniverse you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at help@kahaniverse.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your account.

3. Your content

Kahaniverse is a collaborative platform: authors create universes, stories, and branching pages. You retain ownership of the original content you create (“Your Content”). By posting Your Content you grant Kahaniverse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

Because Kahaniverse is collaborative, you understand that other authors may build upon, branch from, or contribute to stories and universes in accordance with the platform’s contribution rules. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to everything you post and that it does not infringe the rights of others.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit involving minors;
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others;
• Upload malware, scrape the Service, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems;
• Misrepresent authorship or violate the intellectual property rights of others;
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited promotions.

5. Content moderation

We may, but are not obligated to, review, remove, or restrict any content that violates these Terms or that we consider harmful, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that do so. To report content, contact help@kahaniverse.com.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, logos, and branding — is owned by Kahaniverse and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks or the underlying Service except as needed to use it normally.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Kahaniverse is a beta product; we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be preserved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kahaniverse and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
